29CALIDAD DE LECHEEn resumen, las infecciones intramamarias en un rebaño lechero son de carácter multifactorial, donde cerca del 10-20% pueden ser atribuidas al equipo de ordeña. Por ello, resulta sumamente relevante contar con mantenciones regulares que permitan controlar y garantizar, el correcto funcionamiento de los distintos componentes del equipo de ordeña, en pro de evitar las IIM y mantener bajo control los recuentos de células somáticas del rebaño.
